Bronx beginnings, first-generation perspective, and the layered textures of immigrant family life.
About
Born and raised in the Bronx, rooted in Filipino and Jamaican family histories, and now based in South Florida, she writes fiction and poetry that move between fantasy, the macabre, and emotional realism.
Her professional life has included years of accounting work across nonprofit and for-profit organizations throughout New York City and South Florida, but the written word has remained the constant thread.
That love was shaped early by her parents and has stayed with her ever since, growing into stories and poems that aim to bring encouragement, entertainment, and some measure of joy.
Across genre lines, the common impulse is the same: to make room for feeling, atmosphere, and the complicated interior lives that often go unspoken.
